Service Description

Engagement-Centered Leadership Training equips leaders with practical skills to strengthen safety culture through more meaningful, two-way employee engagement. The training focuses on building trust, encouraging employees to speak up about hazards and near misses, asking effective safety questions, listening to frontline experience, recognizing safe behaviors, and following through on concerns. Participants learn how to move beyond one-way safety communication and facilitate conversations that improve hazard awareness, reinforce critical controls, and increase employee participation in safety. The session includes a Training Companion Toolkit with practical resources such as safety conversation prompts, a 15-minute engagement activity, a Leader Floor Walk Checklist, a speak-up/near-miss conversation guide, and a 30-day leadership action plan. The training also introduces leaders to SCOPE’s Virtual Safety Hub, where additional topic-specific leadership toolkits can support continued engagement across a wide range of safety subjects. The training is in a virtual setting.
